Happy birthday to me.

A nice landscape shot ruined by some 16 year old.

Celebrated my 28th birthday by getting a cut-throat razor shave and ridding myself of that 5 year facial fungus. Good to remind myself what I really look like. I have a very small chin.

The folks I'm travelling with went all out and got me all sorts of little things including a home made card, a cake ( Happy Birthday D) and a variety of little presents. I'm blessed with company like that. Right now we have arrived in the hills, its cooler and outside a mosque is calling the locals to prayer, I'm off to get some birthday dinner. Cheers for the b-day emails those of you who remembered, a thousand pestilences on the houses of those who didn't.

Home presents are good. I hope they sang happy birthday in chorus and chaos. Abbracci da tutti qui. :)

looks like a breath-taking place, temples in the desert, monkeys in your hair (i only noticed that today! i thought you were taking off the monkey behind), rocks to climb. i imagine it being silent bar a sand wind, with maybe bells ringing for prayer. enjoy. a big happy birthday from both of us

Wow! It’s true! I never noticed the monkey either! I hope your new climbing buddy is a better spotter than me.
I heard of hanuman from a musician called Pete in Galway, he’s the Monkey God that travels to the mountains on a mission for the tribe. He seeks magic herbs, but unable to recognise the plant, he cleverly returns with the whole mountain. What a plebeian story! I mean really! Then if it’s not Hinduism, it be carnival tricks with wine and blind folk and lepers. Make sure to have your “kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames”.
